My time

By July of 2022, Trey was seeing Chris on a weekly basis, he was forced to go in the beginning and finally started to accept it. This all comes down to him though, Trey has to be the one to want to change. I provided as much information and updates as I could to Chris and got his input. I valued his opinion and trusted him. There were times I had my own sessions with Chris, not knowing he was helping or preparing me for what was to come. 

By 2023, my niece Emma was struggling as well in school with her dad, my brother Nick. I offered to come get her, hoping her and Trey would help each other. Nick and I weren’t close anymore, he thinks I called child services on him, to this day I never have. Anyways, long story short, Trey and I went up to Illinois and moved Emma down with us. 

I had already redecorated Treyson’s room twice and redecorated his game room into Emma’s room. I do mean redecorated as in, pulled the carpet, laid vinyl flooring in each room and repainted. I can’t tell you how much Trey and his friends destroyed those rooms, furniture, walls, ceilings, doors, baseboards, etc. 

Anyways, by 2023 Emma and Trey had the summer together and to make things right. I set the expectations that Chris and I made, hoping this would turn everything around. All summer I told them to get jobs and all summer they did nothing but manipulate me. They would go to the gas station and steal alcohol, they smoked in my house, they took pills, they were having sex, just completely out of control.
