My time

Matt had called it prior, by 10pm power couple would also leave. I wasn’t convinced of this since the awkwardness just left, they had no reason to leave. 

Matt was right, I hear her say “I’m ready to go now” and I look at Matt in shock. How could he have possibly called that? What told him she would leave by 10pm even after being free of the drunken shenanigans they were just relieved from? Experience, that’s how. Matt explained that blondies night was ruined before but she gave it until 10pm for her fiancée to enjoy his time. 

Her night was ruined completely? How? How can a woman let others completely ruin her night even after those people have left them to enjoy the rest of the night? This is where Matt explains where I’m not the “typical woman” so I wouldn’t understand. Well, he’s right, even writing it all out and thinking about it over and over, still I come up with nothing but confusion.

Matt says the difference with him was that he never left, which was an “asshole move” apparently. It’s shit like this I just dont fucking get, cause that man paid his bill and was out the door by 10:02pm. Baffled, bewildered, perplexed, I really can’t describe it. This can’t be a “known thing” that women do to men. 

This must be “control over the situation and/or men” but aren’t they ruining their own night by controlling their man? How can I see this but other women don’t? Maybe it’s not about seeing it, maybe its about priorities.
